Another assignment done in Adobe Illustrator was meant to practice hierarchy, and showing order of importance. For this assignment I chose to display the states I have been to, and color-code them based on the number of times I have visited. I also included reasons for some of the main places I have visited. I created this image by tracing a map, labeling the states, then color-coding each state I have visited. I deliberately chose to leave out the states I haven’t visited because it shows a more interesting approach to a very recognizable shape.
